Abstract

Designing logistics systems with the use of computer simulation and emulation is the
core part of the company's successful manufacturing and warehousing optimisation. The latest
advances in software tools lead to work on computer simulation and emulation use, before,
during and after the design of the logistics system. The work aims at explaining the architecture
of the logistics system by using computer simulation and emulation with connecting to actual
logistics system components. Through this link, may propose a material flow which could
improve the speed and accuracy of order picking in warehouse or material supplies for
manufacture. The solution discussed in this article has many practical applications within the
operations of the business. Future research will explore how computer simulation, emulation and
Digital Twin can interact. It is identified the development of a research question on how to use
the relation between computer simulation and emulation during the design of logistics systems in
chapters of this paper. The following article is divided into two sections: first, a summary of how
to use computer simulation and emulation during logistics design, and second, and a review of
this work
