Abstract

The article analyzes the role of a foreign language as a tool for the future economists, as well as the current state of international standardization of logistics terminology. With the advent of logistics as a separate field of knowledge, there is a need to compile and improve its terminology system. The author emphasizes that the Logistics Glossary of the European Logistics Association (ELA) is engaged in a focused work on the standardization of logistics terminology and relies on both professional logisticians and teachers and students of various specialties related to logistics.
