Abstract

Guaranteeing quality care for children from birth in relation to the educational influence exercised in the
first years of life is necessary for the achievement of early stimulation and care in all its dimensions. The
purpose of this article is to conduct a review study on how early language care for preschool children with
Down syndrome has developed. Therefore, a study is made of the evolution that occurs in the
developmental areas of children with Down syndrome at this stage, and particularly in language. The
progress made in offering early care in this area will guarantee greater preparation for school entry and will
greatly favor educational and social inclusion and the integral development of their personality.
